At present, in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industries, most product production processes are completed through four independent processes: reaction crystallization, solid-liquid separation, washing, and drying of materials, and most raw materials are flammable, explosive, toxic, harmful, and expensive solvents. It is usually completed independently using four different equipment: reaction kettle, centrifuge, washing tank, and dryer. Because centrifuges and some dryers do not have fully enclosed conditions, toxic, harmful, odorous, flammable, and explosive gases or liquids are inevitably leaked into the production environment during the production process or material transportation, causing serious pollution and safety hazards. Accidents occur from time to time, posing a great threat to life and property safety. This conventional process has the following issues:
1. Conventional vacuum dryers are only used for drying and have too few functions;
2. Crystallization, filtration, washing, crushing and other operations need to be carried out on other equipment, and the transportation of materials is relatively complicated, which poses risks to ensuring purity.
3. When a conventional vacuum dryer is used to process materials that are prone to clumping and agglomeration, the drying effect is not very obvious and takes too long, making it difficult for the clumped materials to dry completely.
4. During the entire pre drying production process, excessive use of equipment and prolonged exposure of materials in the production workshop can easily lead to contamination;
5. In the production and drying of some flammable and explosive materials or solvents, the exposure of flammable and explosive materials to air or a large amount of volatile flammable and explosive gases increases the risk of explosion and is unsafe;

At present, in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, after material reaction, concentration or crystallization, filtration or centrifugal dehydration, washing, re filtration or centrifugal dehydration, ordinary double cone rotary vacuum dryers are used for drying. Working principle of four in one double cone dryer
The four in one double cone dryer is a new generation drying device developed by Changzhou Baide in combination with similar domestic product technologies. It is suitable for the pharmaceutical or intermediate raw material pharmaceutical industry, can meet GMP requirements, and can also be used for small-scale and pilot processes of fine chemical products, especially for processes involving flammable, explosive, and harmful solvents. It integrates four functions: filtration, washing, drying, and crushing. He has four more functions than different double cone vacuum drying equipment, including filtration, washing, and crushing.
1. Feeding: The discharge port is facing downwards, and the reaction process is completed. The liquid is fed into the four in one tank through the vacuum center feeding tube or compressed air through the center or tank edge feeding tube, with the capacity measured by the observation mirror.
2. Crystallization and stirring: Start the stirring motor, the crushing and stirring system is at the bottom, the jacket is cut into the chilled water, the vacuum system or exhaust port is turned on, and the crushing and stirring system is started to accelerate the cooling and crystallization of the stirring material liquid. The speed is adjusted according to the actual situation, and the online material liquid temperature display is set.
3. Filtration: After crystallization is completed, flip the tank over and place the filter plate at the bottom. Depending on the needs, it can be filtered by suction or pressure filtration. The filtrate is discharged from the bottom branch pipe (during the pressure filtration process, there is a nitrogen back blowing bubble process). Open the bottom pipeline and quickly open the sealing plate to drain the residual liquid.
4. Washing: Inject an appropriate amount of cleaning solution into the central tube, start the tank to rotate the cleaning material, and rotate it to the filtering condition for liquid discharge operation.
5. Drying: The jacket is switched to inject hot water, the tank is started to rotate, and the vacuum system is activated. During the rotation of the cone, the material continuously flips inside the cone and comes into contact with the cavity wall for heat exchange and drying. The material comes into contact with the cavity wall for heat exchange, and nitrogen is injected regularly to replace the volatile solvent. The volatile solvent vaporizes under vacuum and is discharged through vacuum pumping.
6. Crushing: Observe the drying condition of the material for pilling and clumping, and start the crushing and mixing device under vacuum. The speed of the crushing and mixing device should be adjusted from slow to fast, depending on the characteristics of the material.
7. Sampling: The qualification of materials can be determined by sampling from the sampling port, and sampling can be carried out under vacuum conditions.
8. Discharge: The discharge port is facing downwards, and the vacuum inside the tank is broken. A pneumatic blower is installed on the quick loading interface next to the tank cone, and a fixed docking discharge bag is fitted. The ball valve is opened for discharge. If the material has strong adsorption and sticks to the wall, open the blower to blow while discharging the material.
9. Tank cleaning: Generally, water injection and spray cleaning are used, and the specific cleaning requirements can meet the riboflavin detection requirements. This plan needs to be determined by both parties according to the actual situation.

The four in one double cone dryer is equipped with a crushing and stirring device at the cone part of the tank body, and a filtrate filtration device is installed opposite the discharge port. Multi functional application interfaces for spray cleaning and feeding are installed on both sides of the cone, which realizes the mechanism of online crushing and agglomeration of materials and the filtration of material liquid after crystallization.
